A nice soft bed is wonderful to sink into after a long day. If your bed isn't currently as soft as you'd like it to be, there are some simple things you can do to make it as comfortable and luxurious as the beds at fine hotels. You'll find yourself looking forward to bedtime.
Instructions
1.Strip your bed base down to the bare mattress. Flip the mattress over. You should actually flip your mattress every other month to keep it from developing permanent depressions. Spray the mattress with Febreeze to freshen the fabric.
2.Shake the mattress pad to redistribute the down. Place the down-filled mattress pad on top of the mattress.
3.Put the cotton fitted sheet over the top of the mattress pad. Follow the fitted sheet with a flat sheet. Tuck the corners of the flat sheet underneath the mattress.
4.Insert the down-filled comforter into the cotton duvet. This can be tricky for large sizes like queen and king. To make it simpler, lay the duvet out on the floor. Fold the comforter into thirds. Insert the folded comforter into the duvet. Then unfold the comforter once it's inside the duvet. Place the comforter-filled duvet on the bed.
5.Put pillow cases on all four of the pillows. Stack the pillows neatly at the head of the bed. Fold the blanket or quilt and place it at the foot of the bed. If you take a nap during the day, use the blanket or quilt so you don't have to remake the bed.

How to Use Huggable Hangers
Closet space is a treasured commodity in our culture of ever-changing fashion trends. The typical clothes hanger helps to clear space in the lower portion of a closet, but can leave the shoulder area of blouses, shirts and sweaters bumpy and oddly stretched. "Huggable Hangers" are designed to kill two birds with one stone--to save closet space and prevent strange bumps on the shoulders of hanging clothes.
Instructions
1.Hang your dresses, t-shirts and strapped tops on the "Velvet Hangers" to keep their shape consistent and natural. All Hug gable Hangers are covered in a soft velvet material, designed to keep straps and ruffled sleeves from slipping. Place the hook of your Hug gable Hangers on the horizontal bars in your closet to hang up your clothes and create space on the floor.
2.Drape your slacks, jeans and pants over the "slacks hangers." These specially designed hangers feature a wide velvet-covered crossbar to prevent accidental wrinkles across the middle of your garments. Slack hangers are also designed to hang on the horizontal bars in your closet.
3.Attach "finger clips" to the bottom of slack hangers to pinch pants of any variety in place. The pinching action eliminates the possibility of inadvertent wrinkles, instead holding the garments in place with powerful clips that are thinly designed to maximize horizontal closet space.
4.Add "cascading mini-hooks" to the crossbar of slack hangers to add a dimension of verticality to your hanging clothes. Using the mini-hooks, you can hang one Hug gable Hanger from the crossbar of another. Continue adding mini-hooks to have as many as four garments hanging from one hanger attached to your closet bar.

How to Service Aluminum Radiators
Aluminum radiator is lighter than traditional brass radiator, but performs the same function of circulating coolant to lower the temperature of your vehicle's engine. Both the body and the aluminum core are subject to rust, clogs and breaks just as brass radiators, and the hoses are still rubber and are subject to rips and tears. Aluminum radiators are easier to repair than their brass counterparts, but the repairs and/or replacement can be costly, making regular servicing advisable.
Instructions
1.Spray the surface of the aluminum radiator with water or an air hose to remove debris that has settled on the radiator, possibly preventing it from functioning properly. Radiating heat from the surface of the radiator is one of the ways in which the radiator keeps the temperature of the coolant down. Removal of surface debris may also reveal holes in the radiator that can be repaired before problems ensue.
2.Check the level of coolant in the aluminum radiator accessories and fill it with the car manufacturer's recommended blend of coolant and water. Since the radiator is metal, using only water could cause internal rusting and eventual blockages or leakage. A proper coolant/water mixture is beneficial because coolant contains anti-rust elements.
3.Remove the radiator cap of the Bimetal Radiator and replace it with a radiator pressure test kit. A radiator works by building pressure when the engine is running and using that pressure to force the coolant throughout the engine's cooling system. Test the radiator to make certain it has the proper pressure. Lowered pressure may prevent the radiator from circulating the coolant properly and may indicate a leak in the radiator.
4.Squeeze the upper and lower radiator hoses to check for firmness. If the hose has been damaged and is breaking down, it will feel soft and pliable. The radiator hoses are a direct conduit for the coolant transfer between the engine and the radiator, and if there are rips or tears, coolant could leak and cause radiator and engine problems.
5.Turn the vehicle's heater control to the "on" setting and turn the ignition switch off. Allow the vehicle and the engine to cool. Remove the radiator cap and the upper and lower radiator hoses. Drain the coolant from the aluminum radiator by opening the drain plug. Flush the radiator with a water hose through the top of the radiator until the water runs clear. Reverse the flush by inserting the water hose into the lower radiator hose. Place the hoses back on the radiator and refill the radiator with coolant.

How to Compare Mattresses
One of the best things you can do for yourself and your body is to get a good night’s rest each night. One of the main ingredients you need for that is a great mattress. With so many options for mattresses on the market, the task of comparing mattresses may seem daunting, but with a few helpful hints in hand, it can be a simple process. While you can purchase mattresses online, I would never recommend doing so unless you are ordering a model you have already tested out in person.
Instructions
Comparing Mattresses
1.Decide what type of mattress you want. There are water-filled mattresses, memory foam mattresses, air-filled mattresses and mattresses with coils. Each has pros and cons and the price range varies with each.
2.Keeping in mind your budget and the room available for your mattress, begin searching various furniture and mattress stores for the right mattress for you.
3.Have each person who will sleep on the mattress try it out. To try it out, climb onto it and lay down. Change position multiple times, so you can feel what it is like to lay on the mattress while on your back, on your left side, on your right side and on your stomach. Make sure to try out the position(s) you sleep in most, as well.
4.If you will be sharing the bed, be sure to have the other person climb onto the bed and off it while you are laying on it. Also have them lay down, change positions and move around a bit while you are still laying on the mattress. You want to test how much their movements disturb you while you are laying down. Take turns going through this process.
5.Take note of any special requirements for the mattress such as foundation, electrical outlets, care, maintenance and specially sized sheets. This is most typically found with California King and pillow-top mattresses.
6.Ask about financing plans if you need it, delivery and warranties that come with your Spring Mattress. Ask if the delivery includes setup and old mattress removal/disposal, too.
7.Rate each mattress you try out. Make notes about likes, dislikes and price.
8.Review your notes and compare notes with your sleeping partner, if you have one. Before you purchase, try out your top choice one more time to ensure that you have not changed your mind.
9.One you and your sleep partner (if you have one) have made a mattress choice, all you need to do is purchase it and prepare the room it will go into.

How to Choose a Box Spring Mattress
Shopping for a mattress according to your specifications can be a daunting task. There are so many brands, mattress types and sizes you must consider for restful sleeping. The same effort must go into choosing a box spring mattress. A proper box spring mattress helps support the mattress so it does not deform the frame. Box springs must also be well fitted to ensure the mattress is situated with stability and at a proper height that doesn't interfere with sleeping or cause back or neck discomfort from poor bedding alignment.
1
Evaluate your current box spring mattress. Determine whether to replace it with a new one if it doesn’t support your current mattress well.
2
Measure the mattress’ length and width so that the box spring fits correctly on its frame. Standard twin mattresses are generally 39 in. by 75 in., queen mattresses are 60 in. by 80 in. and king mattresses are 78 in. by 80 in. Find an appropriate box spring according to the mattress’ dimensions.
3
Test the box spring. Slide it in or rest it on top of the bed base. Make sure that your bed frame is sturdy enough to support the box spring’s weight--a snug fit is what you should be after so the box spring supports the mattress and keeps it from moving.
4
Consider investing in a special-made box spring if you have certain allergies. Because box springs are home to dust mites and bed bugs as well, select a box spring that comes equipped with an allergen-blocking cover. Invest in an extra support box spring if you have back problems.
5
Compare brands for a quality box spring. Box spring brands the same name as the mattress will most likely be the best fit. Inquire about the company’s warranty program in case the box spring needs to be replaced.

How to Repair a Plastic Nissan Radiator
Nissan's use of plastic radiators has grown over the last 20 years, displacing older, heavier ones made out of brass. The plastic versions are lighter, easier to repair, built to withstand heat and reinforced with glass fibers to increase their durability under pressure and high temperatures. Road debris, salt and other chemicals, however, can cause blockages, holes and cracks in the bimetal radiator. If the necessary repairs are not made, other problems can arise, affecting the vehicle's engine and radiator.
1
Start the vehicle so the coolant will flow from the radiator and through the engine and the rest of the cooling system. Look around under the hood for leaks in the radiator and attached hoses, as well as on the ground for green fluid. If the source of the leak is not easy to see, turn off the engine and clean the radiator's surface with a water hose or high pressured air to remove road debris that may be obscuring leaks. The actual method of repair will be determined by the type and location of the leak.
2
Disconnect the damaged radiator hose. Unhook the metal rings at each end of the hose. Pull the hose away from the connectors. Clean the connector openings. Place the new hose on the openings, securing it with the metal rings.
3
Take the radiator cap off the radiator when the engine and radiator accessories have cooled. Pour a bottle or can of radiator cooling system sealant into the radiator. Fill the rest of the room in the radiator with coolant or water. Coolant system sealant comes in powder and pellet form. Both versions work the same way --- flowing through the coolant and swelling to fill leaks. Start the vehicle and drive for at least a half hour to allow the sealant to move through the radiator and cooling system.
4
Stop the engine and allow it to cool. Drain the coolant from the radiator. Place the air-free plastic welder over the leak area, until it is heated all the way through. Place the air-free welder over the plastic welding rod to melt it into the leak until it begins to take on the color of the radiator. Allow the weld job to cool.
